The objective of this project was to create a restaurant space designed for cultural and multi-sensory experiences. Pasta Veloce in Museum London is a quaint, modern restaurant with a twist. The open dining space will feature modern, sleek styles featuring mostly white, black and beige with hints of muted colours. These colours are meant be cohesive with the outdoors as the restaurant features many large windows. Tables of two and four will be placed strategically throughout the restaurant accompanied by sections booths. The secluded dining space introduces a very bright and abstract concept, the opposite of the main dining area. This small secluded space will feature many bright colours with abstract paint designs covering the walls, creating a very bright and fun space for children and families. Booths are a focal point in this section rather than the usual two or four seat dining tables. The bar area will feature mood lighting and single seats for anyone who is dining by themselves. Opposite colour contrasts are used in the bar area compared to the main dining areas in order to achieve cohesive and similar design styles while also creating a different feeling between the two spaces.
